Abbey Farm ET Primary School Tours 2026/2027 Reception
We are so excited to welcome local families into our new school through our series of small tours. Places on each tour are limited, so we can answer all your questions and keep the learning environment calm for our current children.
You will be shown around the school facilities, with a chance to see classes in action.
Tickets are limited to two per family to allow everyone a chance to get a tour. Please find the dates and times of our tours below:

Primary school admissions for September 2027
Applications open via Swindon Borough Council in September 2026.
Eligible children: Born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023.
Applications open: September 2026.
Application deadline: Mid-January 2027 (typically 15 January).
Offers announced: Mid-April 2027 (usually 16 April, matching standard local authority timelines). [1, 2]

In Year Admissions
We currently have spaces in:

Year 1 (2 spaces)
Year 2 - full
Year 3
Year 4 (1 space)
We do not have a year 5 or year 6 yet.
All in-year applications are processed directly through the school. Please email info@abbeyfarmet.org.uk to arrange a visit or contact us on 01793 251109. To apply for a space please complete the online form. We will then be in contact.
If your family is in the process of moving and you would like the application to be considered on the child’s future address, please enclose a copy of the ‘Contract of Exchange’ or a 6 month tenancy agreement. Please note that applications based on a new home address will only be considered within six weeks of confirmed moving date.
This form can also be collected from the school office. All applications for In-Year Admission will be handled within 10 working school days or less.
Where a parent/carer wishes to appeal the admissions decision, the school will follow their agreed appeals procedure. Please see school admissions policy.
From September 2025 the Trust took over the management of all in-year applications.
